Josephine Frances Kokoszka, 80, Green Bay, passed away peacefully Friday, June 14, 2024. She was born March 27, 1944, in Marinette, Wisconsin to Matt and Bernice (Figas) Russ.

Josephine earned a Bachelor of Science degree with a major in medical technology from UW – Stevens Point. She married John Kokoszka on October 14, 1967, at St. Augustine Church in Wausaukee. He preceded her in death on April 13, 2000.

She is survived by her son, John; daughter, Melissa; siblings, Stacey Russ, Michael (Bobbie) Russ; brother-in-law, Edward (Patricia) Kokoszka; nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

Josephine was preceded in death by her husband, John; parents, Matt and Bernice; siblings, Robert and Patrick; and in-laws, John A. and Louise Kokoszka.

In honor of Josephine, there will be a memorial mass. The service information will be announced at a later time.
