John Michael Wauters, 67, Green Bay, passed away Monday, April 13, 2026. He was born May 4, 1958, to Alfred "Buzz" and Florence "Flossie" (Kreuser) Wauters.

John was a sweet, caring son, brother and uncle. He was a devoted caretaker for his mother and father. John had a great attitude towards life and compassion for others. He was interested in politics and wanted goodness in the world.

He also loved to talk sports. John had an incredible memory and knew everything about his favorite teams, including games and players from the past. He enjoyed watching golf and his favorite teams, the Brewers and Bucks. John never missed a Packer game and was an avid Packer fan!

He is survived by his siblings, Linda (Gary) Chriske, Sherry (Klarner) Greenwood, Michele Morgan; nieces and nephews, Lisa (Mike) Vander Meulen, Melissa (Kevin) DeBauche, Brad (Becky) Chriske, Jessica Chriske, Matthew (Abigail) Klarner, Jeremy (Amanda) Klarner, Kimberly (Kevin) Klarner, Adam Sarkis, Casey Morgan, Nina Morgan and all of their children; as well as other extended family and friends.

John was preceded in death by his parents, Alfred and Florence; sister, Mary Wauters; brother-in-law, Mark Klarner, Tom Greenwood.
