John B. St. Andre, 82, Green Bay, WI., passed away May 10, 2025 after a lengthy illness. John was born September 22, 1942 in Ishpeming, MI to Joseph and Polly (Johnson) St. Andre.

John was a social studies teacher at Southwest High School for 33 years. He retired from teaching in 2003 and started his new full-time role as grandpa. John continued to take field trips with his grandchildren to pumpkin fields and apple orchards with many visits to beaches and spending time at camp in the UP. He loved being able to spend time with his children and grandchildren. While his children were growing up John was always there for them and after they were grown, he was always the most dependable dad. He enjoyed gardening, puzzles, and reading. John was an avid fan of the Packers and the Michigan Wolverines. During his retirement he took the opportunity to travel. His favorite trips were his time spent in Rome and Hilton Head Island. John became a very involved member at St. Jude Catholic Church. He was a man of strong faith and loved being able to provide Communion to those in nursing homes. John's faith and values were incredibly important; he instilled in his family the importance of taking care of each other, loving God, and giving back.

John is survived by his wife of 51 years Lottie (Litkey) and their three children and their families: John J. St. Andre (Kathie, Savannah, and Colin John), Erin (Jason Hoppe, M.D., Ian, Merryn, Ewan, and Jacqueline), and Justin R. St. Andre (James M. Kerridge). He is survived by his sisters-in-law and their families: Jo and Perry Carpiaux (Greg, and Jodi), and Chris and Tom VanGheen (Lynn, Jessica, and Allyson). John is further survived by his extended family: Ron and Joan Hoppe, Leon and Sandi Heim, and Jim and Anita Hayes.

He is preceded in death by his parents, brother Joseph C. St. Andre, in-laws Rita, Gail, and Jed Litkey, special cousin Kathleen (Jose) Aguilar, and best friends Mike Evans and Larry Smith.

Friends and family will gather at St. Jude Parish, 1420 Division St., from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. on Saturday, May 17; Mass of Christian Burial to follow at 11 a.m. with Rev. James Neilson officiating. To send online condolences, please go to www.BlaneyFuneralHome.com.
