John Joseph Selissen, 58, Green Bay, passed away Monday, March 4, 2024. He was born June 17, 1965, in Green Bay to Peter and Mary (Moore) Selissen.

John graduated from Green Bay Southwest High School, Class of 1984. Growing up he enjoyed playing baseball and basketball. John continued to love sports all his life and was an avid Packers, Bucks, Badgers, and Brewers fan. Wisconsin sports were always the most important. John enjoyed traveling and had many fond memories of his trips out west. He proudly worked as a CNA for 8 years. John loved good food, especially chicken. He enjoyed writing poetry, biking and walking everywhere. John was a free spirit with a strong sense of humor. He had the best practical jokes, being a practical joke was just a part of his personality.

He is survived by his father, Peter; siblings, Kathy (Chuck) Hawkins, Jennifer Selissen, Peter Selissen Jr.; nieces and nephews, Seth Hawkins, Brady (Brianna) Hawkins, Jaxsen Selissen, Meadow Selissen; other relatives and friends.

John was preceded in death by his mother, Mary.
