John S. Mann, 77, Green Bay, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, February 4, 2026, after a brief illness. He was born November 4, 1948, in Green Bay to Harold and Carol Mae (Krueger) Mann.

John was a proud graduate of Southwest High School and spent his life rooted in the community he loved. Known for his warm spirit and friendly nature, John lived by the simple philosophy to "always be friendly," and often shared the advice to "try to get along with everyone." Those who knew him will remember his kindness, humor, and easygoing outlook on life.

John enjoyed traveling and loved his trip to Hawaii. His true passion was sports. John was a diehard Wisconsin sports enthusiast, faithfully supporting the Packers, Brewers, and Bucks. He proudly cheered at Super Bowl '07 with his brother, Larry, even if the Packers weren't there, they were glad the Bears didn't win. While he never had the chance to play high school football his love of the game and desire to play never waned. John would have loved to meet Bob Uecker in this life, but we are certain that he will have the opportunity to share a beer with him.

He is survived by his siblings, Larry (Alice) Mann, Betty (Rick) Toneys, Russ (Sara) Mann; beloved nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, other relatives, and friends.

John was preceded in death by his parents.

A celebration of life will be scheduled for a later date. To send online condolences, please go to www.BlaneyFuneralHome.com .
