John "Jack" D. Diederich, 79, Green Bay, passed away Saturday, May 4, 2024 after a long battle with cancer and a stroke. He was born August 7, 1944, to Vincent and Josephine (Muraski) Diederich.

Jack attended Premontre High School. After high school he married Joan Verhaagh and together they celebrated 60 years. Jack worked at H.J. Martin and Gegare Tile until he and Joan started a business together. They operated Diederich flooring for 35 years. Jack enjoyed going up north and watching football and NASCAR. He also raced stock cars and snowmobiles. Jack had lots of good friends and lots of good times.

He is survived by his wife, Joan; children, Jane (Dan), Joseph; five grandchildren all of whom he loved dearly; great-grandchildren; siblings, Richard, Donna; siblings-in-law, Bill (Connie) Verhaagh, Ronald (Karen) Verhaagh, Clyde (special friend, Marlene) Verhaagh, Mary Lou Verhaagh, Ray Verhaagh, Joyce (Tom) McFadden, Daniel Calewarts; many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

Jack was preceded in death by his son, Jeffrey Diederich; granddaughter, Jackie Diederich; parents, Vincent and Josephine; siblings, James Diederich, Linda Blaser; nephews, Tim Verhaagh, Chuck Wasielewski; sisters-in-law, Barbara Calewarts, Darlene Verhaagh; brother-in-law, Gerald Verhaagh; parents-in-law, William and Henrietta Verhaagh.
