Joann "Joni" M. Keckhaver, 82, Green Bay, passed away peacefully on December 17, 2022. She was born to Carl and Ann (Hermes) Hock on Feb 22, 1940, in De Pere.

On May 7,1960 she married Stan Keckhaver at Our Savior Lutheran Church in Green Bay. They had 4 children. Todd, Kurt, Cindy and Kim. Joni was a caring wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend.

Joni was very passionate about children, in 1978 she started working at Helen Keller School as a lunch/recess supervisor. She would play kickball, foursquare and even just hold hands with students that were a little shy. After 34 years she retired in 2012 to enjoy "The Cabin Life"

Throughout her life Joni enjoyed, decorating her house, listening to country music, bowling, making Christmas candy, spending time with her family and enjoying up north. Her greatest joy was being a mom and spending time with her grandchildren.

Joni loved life and never took it for granted. She lived her life to the fullest. Always had a smile and always enjoyed having a good time. "One More" was always something she would say at the end of the night. She was loved by so many. We will miss her dearly and will try to "Follow Your Dreams" as Joni always encouraged.

She is survived by her husband, Stan; children, Todd (Sue) Keckhaver, Kurt (Tina) Keckhaver, Kim (Matt) Holford; grandchildren, Paul (Nicole) Keckhaver, Kellie (Jeremy) Denor, Tyler Joachim, Emily Keckhaver, Morgan (Brandon) Cowie, Mitchell Anderson, Samantha and Abby Holford; great grandchildren, Carter, Kaden, Corbin and Kinsley, Beau, Eddie and Josie; brothers, Jerry (Pat) and Mike; sisters, Dar, Vicki (Steve) and Laurie; sisters-in-law, Jean and Pat.

Joni is preceded in death by her daughter, Cindy; her parents; brothers, Chub, Ted and Tommy.
