Joan Angela Rothering, 87, Green Bay, passed away January 30, 2025.  She was born March 24, 1937, in Chicago, IL to Harry and Angela (Clocker) Wisdom.  Joan was raised in Twin Lakes, WI and attended school in Burlington. Joan moved to the Green Bay area and worked as a legal secretary and as a secretary for WPS Insurance.
Joan loved baking and cooking, especially her pastries and incredible homemade bread. She loved a good round of golf and all the time she spent playing cards with her friends in her card club.  She loved finding a deal at K-Mart. Her love for her children and grandchildren knew no bounds.
Joan is survived by her children, Lori (Gary) Delfosse, Jane (Michael) Dozier, Michael (Lori) Rothering, John (Christina) Rothering; three foster children over the years, David, Roseann and Paul; grandchildren, Joshua (Anna) Delfosse, Jacob Delfosse (friend, Pam Zeitler), Lindsey (Hunter) Cluthe, Jordan (Xing Xang) Destiche, Zachary Rothering (friend Adrian), Corey Rothering (friend Jordan), Ben Rothering, William Rothering; great-grandchildren, Camden Kelley, Ethan Kelley, Olivia Delfosse Olivine Delfosse; brother, John Wisdom; sisters-in-law, Pat Wisdom, Grace Wisdom, Margie Uhen; as well as many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in by her parents, brothers, George Wisdom and Carl Wisdom; and sister-in-law, Sue Wisdom; her father to her children, David Rothering.
