Joan Marie Peters, 93, Green Bay, passed away peacefully on Sunday, September 20, 2026, surrounded by her loving family. She was born July 23, 1933, in Green Bay to Clarence and Rosella (Dollar) Pierquet.

Joan married Robert "Bob" Peters on June 6, 1953. Joan and Bob started their own business, Robert Peters Construction Inc, in 1957.

Family was everything to Joan! She was a dedicated wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She enjoyed making cherished memories with her family and friends. She also loved the camping trips with all eight of us in a station wagon, pulling our pop-up camper. Joan loved decorating for each season and gathering at the cottage on weekends to grill, play games, and enjoy family togetherness. When the grandkids were young, Joan and Bob enjoyed taking them on mini vacations and get-aways. She was a very social person, loved to have fun! Joan enjoyed her 50 Year Card Club and all of her other groups of friends. 

She was a woman of deep faith, an active member of the Catholic Church, and a prayer warrior. Joan enjoyed gardening and loved flower arranging. She spent hours transplanting flowers and took great joy in nursing a sick plant back to health. She even transplanted geraniums only a few days before she passed. Orchids were her favorites but they never seemed to re-bloom for her, no matter how hard she tried. Joan stayed active and enjoyed exercising her entire life. She was an avid Packers fan and enjoyed golfing. Fall was her favorite time of year. Joan also loved the Christmas Season with all of the music , festivities, and baking. She enjoyed traveling in her younger days. She and Bob went on many wonderful trips and excursions.

She is survived by her children, Deb Brahm, Sharon (Steve Zephirin) Finlay, Mary (Rod) Creighbaum, Cindy (Craig) Larson, Bob (Sue) Peters, Tom (Karen) Peters; grandchildren, Jordan Finlay, Josef Sliwinski, Jessica Minnoch, Kevin Creighbaum, Nicole Larson, Adam (Carla) Larson, Michael Peters, Ryan Peters, Daniel (Jen Sontag) Peters, Dylan (Kilei Herron) Peters, Savannah Peters; great-grandchildren, Mya, Kingsley, Josh, Huck, Rowan, Josephine; siblings, Mary Jean Lindstrom, Sandy Classon, Linda (Steve) Meyer, Chris (Tina) Pierquet; many loved nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

Joan was preceded in death by her husband, Bob; parents, Clarence and Rosella Pierquet; brother, Jerry (Patricia) Pierquet; sister, Donna (Gene) Pieshek; brother-in-law, David Lindstrom; niece, Lori Pierquet; nephew, Nathan Lindstrom.

Friends and family will gather at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church, 2771 Oakwood Dr. Green Bay, from 9:00AM to 11:00AM on Tuesday, September 29, 2026.
