Joan Brunette, 84, Green Bay, passed away unexpectedly of an apparent heart attack on Friday, January 29, 2021. She was born on August 6, 1936 to the late Raymond and Gertrude (O'Brien) Allen. On December 28, 1955, Joan married Dale Brunette.

There is so much to say, yet so few words that capture the true spirit of Mom. She meant so much to so many. The world is a better place because of her. Joan was the kindest, most welcoming soul. She accepted everyone as they were. She was strong, yet compassionate along with a natural wisdom and quick wit. Family meant everything to Joan. Her home was a magical gathering place, where everyone felt loved. She was selfless, always putting others first and treated everyone like family. Joan's faith guided her throughout her life. She was an extraordinary person of character and faith. She unintentionally modeled this in her everyday life. She believed in angels and now we have the perfect one in Heaven. Mom, we strive to be half the person you were. We are all so grateful for the blessing of you.

Joan is survived by her children, Keith (Sheryl) Brunette, Craig (Mary) Brunette, Kevin (friend, Karen Barrette) Brunette, Ellen Olmsted and Brenda (Bill) Robillard; grandchildren, Jackie (Jereme) Jensen, Jon (Allyson) Brunette, Michael (Hope) Brunette, Stephanie Brunette, Joe (friend, Melissa Neta) Brunette, Matthew Brunette, Jacob Brunette, Molly (friend, Jake Tobin) Brunette, Benjamin (friend, Cassie Padovani) Brunette, Harrison Brunette, Brook (Charlie) Eads, Robert (Erika) Robillard and Christopher (Katie) Robillard; great-grandchildren, Allison and Ryan Jensen, Charles, Thomas, Madeline and Henry Brunette, Gabe, Ethan, Elijah and Charlotte Eads and Ryan Robillard.

She is further survived by her siblings, Carol Kimel, Sharon (Steve) Wiegert, Mary Allen, Ralph (Betsy) Allen, Mark (Kris) Allen; sister-in-law, Brenda Allen; brother-in-law, Raphael (Rene) Brunette; as well as nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
