Joan Ellen Beck, 98, Green Bay, passed away Tuesday, June 24, 2025. She was born October 2, 1926 in Oshkosh to Stephen and Elsa Edith "Ella" (Tegatz) Dushenski.

Joan graduated from Oshkosh High School. She attended Oshkosh State Teachers College and earned a nursing certificate from Mercy Hospital School of Nursing in May of 1947. She married Roger Beck on September 16, 1947, at St. Peter's Catholic Church. He preceded her in death on April 6, 1999. Joan enjoyed golfing, sailing, and traveling. She especially enjoyed her trips to Europe with Roger and friends.

She is survived by her children, Anne (Anthony) Nyktas, Jean Beck, David (Carol) Beck, Brad Beck; grandchildren, Alex, Elise, Stephen, Brooke, Allison, Meredith, Jonathan, Andrew, Meghan, Danielle; great-grandchildren, Gavin, Jackson, Avery, Aiden, Noah, James, Leighton, Charlotte, Walker, Ellie, Davis; other relatives, and friends.

Joan was preceded in death by her husband, Roger; daughter, Sue Ellen; daughter-in-law, Jamie Dooley Beck; granddaughter, Lauren; great-grandson, Wyatt; parents, Stephen and Ella; sister, Ruth.

Friends and family will gather at SS. Edward & Isidore Parish, 3667 Flintville Rd., from 10 AM to 11 AM on Saturday, July 19; Mass of Christian Burial to follow at 11 AM.
