Jessica L. (Caelwaerts) Blindauer, 27, passed away Monday, November 27, 2023 at Aurora Hospital with her family by her side. She was born January 26, 1996, to Brian and Kathy (Wendricks) Caelwaerts.
Jessica graduated from Bay Port High School, Class of 2014. She graduated from Drake University in 2020 with her Doctorate in Pharmacy and Masters in Business. On August 14, 2021, she married her high school sweetheart Jacob "Jakey" Blindauer.
To know Jessica was to love her. She was an incredible force of life and love. Jessica was an incredibly kind person who was extremely selfless, always willing to help those in need, found the good in everyone and always gave the best hugs.
Jessica loved hunting, fishing, ice fishing, playing games, going to breakfast with her grandfather, spending time in Crivitz and Florence, and spending time with her family and many friends who were all so very special to her. Jessica took great pride in her pharmacy work and was always willing to share her knowledge with others. She taught us how to be an advocate for ourselves and to never stop pushing for what you believe in. This was also evident in the information she shared during her ACC Journey.
She is survived by her loving husband, Jacob; parents, Brian and Kathy; brother, Tony (Betsy) Caelwaerts; sister, Alyssa (Ben) Keuken; parents- in-law, Pat and Barb Blindauer; sister-in-law, Liz; grandfather, Tom Caelwaerts. She is further survived by her nieces and nephews, goddaughter Hazel, Henry, Sydney, Wyatt; rescue cat, Gerdy; aunts, uncles, cousins, and many friends.
Jessica was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Judy and Jerry Wendricks; paternal grandmother, Loanne Caelwaerts; uncle, David Rehnberg; cousin, Josephine Williquette; brother-in-law, Jason Blindauer; Jacob's grandparents, Jerry and Gloria Blindauer, Elmer and Dorothy Van Gheem.
Friends and family will gather at Blaney Funeral Home, 1521 Shawano Ave., from 11 a.m. to 2:15 p.m. on Sunday, December 3; Parish Wake Service to follow at 2:15 p.m. Visitation will continue Monday, December 4 at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, 2597 Glendale Ave., (The entrance is directly across from BP gas station on Glendale Ave.) from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial to follow at 12:30 p.m. with Fr. Jessica was able to give one of the greatest gifts and will live on in others through organ donation.
Jessica's family wishes to extend a heartfelt thank you to all the staff at Aurora for all their care and support; to the many family and friends who have reached out and supported our family.
It's a great day to have a great day.
