Jerry Arnold Kuschel, 80, Green Bay, passed away Monday, March 25, 2024. He was born March 26, 1943, in Clintonville, WI, to Arnold and Irene (Rekitzke) Kuschel.
He was baptized and confirmed at St. Martin Lutheran Church. He graduated from Clintonville High School in 1961. Jerry married Glorianne Myrtle (Krueger) Pagel on October 10, 1970 at Christus Lutheran Church, Clintonville. For many years he worked in electrical engineering for Paper Converting Machine Company until his retirement in 1999. Jerry was a longtime director of the board for PCMCU, many years as chairman, serving from 1987 to 2022.
Jerry belonged to Zion Lutheran Church, Oneida, where he held many offices. He loved to travel, enjoyed bowling but gave it up for golfing. He played in different golf leagues and was able to golf across the U.S. Jerry especially enjoyed Fox Valley Golf Course and Crystal Springs. When he wasn't traveling or golfing Jerry liked to attend car shows like Iola and Jefferson and enjoyed antique cars.
He is survived by his wife, Glorianne; daughter, Belinda (Scott) Hunter; stepson, Leonard E. Pagel; grandchildren, Mitchell (Jackie); Renee; sister-in-law, Jane Krueger; brother-in-law, Harold Wolf.
Jerry was preceded in death by his parents, Arnold and Irene, in-laws, Edwin and Melda Krueger, brother-in-law, Norman Krueger; sister-in-law; Verl Wolf.
Friends and family will gather at Blaney Funeral Home, 1521 Shawano Ave., from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday, April 6; Service to follow at 1 p.m. with Pastor Christian Burg officiating. To send online condolences, please go to www.BlaneyFuneralHome.com.
The family would like to thank the nurses and Dr. Devilla at Bellin Cancer Center and the team that cared for Jerry for eight years. They would also like to thank hospice, especially Sam for the last four months of care.
