Jennifer Lynn Seidel, 47, Green Bay, Wisconsin, passed away on Wednesday, July 29, 2026.
Born on March 27, 1979, to Peter and Patti (Miller) Seidel, of Dunning Drive in De Pere, WI. Jennifer resided at Monroe Plaza and Trail Creek Apartments in Green Bay WI, until her death.
Jennifer was a graduate of West De Pere High School and enjoyed Phantom sports all of her life. She also attended NWTC and achieved her CNA certificate. Jen worked at several nursing homes, before a spinal issue caused her to become disabled.
Jen loved fishing at the family lake house "Up North" and spending time on the beach there, and in Florida, where she always hoped to see dolphins, which she was totally obsessed with. She loved to watch rocket launches at the space center and collected NASA memorabilia. Her other loves included the Green Bay Packers and the Milwaukee Bucks, WWE wrestling, arts and crafts, bingo, cards & board games, but most of all, family gatherings and reunions. She kept in touch with family through phone calls with her cousin Joanne on a weekly basis. She also simply adored her niece and nephew and enjoyed any news she could get about them.
She is survived by her father and his fiancée, Peter Seidel of Rapid River, MI and Jeanne Buckarma of New London, WI; sister, Jaimie (Luka) Green and their children, Elayna and Eli of Butner, NC; uncles, Dan (Diana) Seidel, Paul (Lois) Seidel, Chuck, (Kristin) Seidel, Mike (Sharon) Seidel, Mike (Lori) Miller all of Wisconsin; aunts, Mary Guth of Ypsilanti, MI, and Diane (Dan) Williams of Green Bay, WI; as well as seventeen cousins and many friends.
Jennifer was preceded in death by her mother, Patti Seidel, who was her rock. Jennifer's life was very devastated by that loss, until her death. She was also preceded in death by her grandparents, Tony and Lullua (nee Buckarma) Seidel, and Bob and Carol (nee Erickson) Miller; uncle, Don Guth; aunt, Debbie (nee Erickson) Wilson.
Friends and family will gather for a celebration of Jennifer's life at Blaney Funeral Home, 1521 Shawano Ave., from 1pm to 3pm on Saturday, August 15; A Sharing of Memories to follow at 3pm. To send online condolences, please go to www.BlaneyFuneralHome.com.
Although being disabled much of her life, Jen remained fiercely independent and insisted on living her life on her own terms. She will be sadly missed by all who knew her, especially her father, Peter, who would like to personally thank all those who helped Jennifer throughout her life.
