Jeannette was born on March 10, 1946 to Joseph and Fern (Folger) La Plante.

Jeannette was full of love, compassion, and perseverance. Her life was focused on her family, friends, and community. She was a long standing member of Calvary Lutheran church and enjoyed the company of the congregation attending church functions, helping those in need, and raising money for various causes. Jeannette often put others before herself ensuring her family and friends felt loved and happy. She was so proud of her family and made sure to stay in touch with them as much as she could.

Jeannette married the love of her life, Gerald, in February 1963 and reaffirmed their love again on May 22, 1976.

Jeannette's personality was bubbly, witty, and bold. She was never afraid to speak up for her beliefs, protect her family, and give love to those in need. She had a unique ability make people feel like family just by reading their aura.

She loved crafting and sewing. Her talent in creating wonderful items from fabric and wood were enjoyed by many.

Jeannette is survived by her children Lisa (Randy) Byng, Jesse (Teri) Kujawa; grandchildren, Amanda (Mark) Tumpach, Megan Kujawa (Charles), Katelyn Kujawa (Titian), Jaxon Kujawa; great-grandsons, Mason and Seth Tumpach; and her brother Wayne (Donna) La Plante.

She was preceded in death by her husband Gerald Kujawa, mother Fern La Plante, father Joseph La Plante, siblings Gerald La Plante and Beverly Hansford.

Jeannette made an overwhelming impact on everyone who met her and will be greatly missed.
