Jeanne Gillespie passed away on Friday, February 2, 2024, at the age of 87. She was born on August 25, 1936, in Antigo, WI and raised by Louie and Cecelia Keen.

Jeanne graduated from Antigo High School where she met and later married her high school sweetheart, William Gillespie, on December 27, 1954. They attended UW - Madison until Bill was drafted by the US Army. After his service at Ft. Sill, Oklahoma, Jeanne and Bill moved to the Green Bay area where they settled in the wilds of Ashwaubenon in 1966. While raising their children she completed her bachelor's degree and certification through UW - Green Bay. She went on to earn her master's degree from UW - Milwaukee in 1985. Jeanne was a teacher at Parkview Middle School throughout her whole career up to her retirement after 20 years.

When Jeanne wasn't enlightening her students, she was fostering a lifelong love of travel in her family resulting from numerous family vacations in the U.S. and Europe. She enjoyed gardening, reading, thoughtful conversation in addition to golf and can proudly boast a hole-in-one witnessed by five other golfers at Mid Vallee. She loved following the Packers and her beloved Brewers.

She is survived by her daughter, Julie (Dan) Bramschreiber; son, Brack (Sherry) Gillespie; four grandchildren, Nina (Alex) Sarokin, Bo Bramschreiber, Brynn Gillespie, and AJ Gillespie; and great-grandchildren, Eva and Reece Sarokin.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Bill, and grandson, Reece William Bramschreiber.
