Jean Marie Herman-Thiry, 61, Green Bay, passed away on Friday, March 14, 2025. The daughter of the late Alois and Eleanor (Strzelecki) Walski was born on October 28, 1963.

On October 18, 2008, Jean married Gary Thiry in Door County. Jean was a loving wife and mother. She was kind, welcoming, and a mother figure to many of her daughter's childhood friends. She enjoyed spending time sitting on the deck looking out at her flower gardens and decorating her home. Jean loved her dogs and spending quality time with her family and friends. Everything she did was done with love. Jean loved deeply and purely and in return she was loved truly by those who knew her.

Jean is survived by her husband, Gary; daughter, Taylor (Alex) Niemuth of Green Bay; three stepchildren, Chad (Amanda) Thiry of Luxemburg, Tracie (Brad) Veeser, and Stephanie (Derek) Moede both of Dykesville; five grandchildren, Brady, Olivia, Bryce, Kiley, Kane; brother, Gary (Bethel) Walski; sister, Sue (Daryl) Konitzer; her canine companions, Rhody and Remi; grand-dog, Louie; as well as nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Alois and Eleanor; her brother, John Walski; niece, Kelly Leslie Walski; good friend, Cathy Pelnar.
