Jean M. Grathen, 84, Green Bay, passed away December 23, 2023. She was born April 14, 1939 in Green Bay to Louis and Loretta (Denis) Leurquin. Jean was a graduate of Green Bay West High School. On September 24, 1960, she married Gary Grathen at Annunciation Catholic Church. Jean gratefully raised her family. She enjoyed crocheting and knitting and loved gifting all her creations to her family. Jean loved the holidays and having her whole family together. She enjoyed time up north and sitting around the fire. Jean was a faith filled woman and a longtime member of St. Agnes Catholic Church.
Jean is survived by her husband, Gary; children, Anthony (Jodi) Grathen, Barbara Ritchie, Carl (Jane) Grathen, Donna Rae (John) Goslin, Eleanor (Dave) Meyer, Fredrick (Kristy) Grathen; grandchildren and great- grandchildren; sisters, Alice Huebscher and Carol (Gary) Maddix; brother, Louis (Cathy); sisters-in-law, Nancy, Dorthy; nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, son-in-law, Bob Ritchie; four brothers, Richard, Roger (Jean), Ronald, and Bobby.
Friends may visit at Blaney Funeral Home, 1521 Shawano Ave., from 3 to 6 p.m. Thursday with a Parish Wake Service at 6 p.m. Visitation will continue at St. Agnes Catholic Church, 1484 Ninth St., from 2 to 3 p.m. Friday with the Mass of Christian Burial at 3 p.m. Entombment will be in Allouez Chapel Mausoleum.
