Jean Marie (Tolan) Geis, 58, of Green Bay, passed away after a courageous battle with cancer on Friday, March 29, 2024.  She was born on June 20th, 1965 in Green Bay to the late Thomas C. Tolan and Beverly A. Tolan (Hooper).

Jean graduated from Southwest High School in 1984 and then dedicated her life to caring for young children, first as a private nanny and then a daycare teacher for twenty three years.  She delighted in creating lessons that inspired her students. She was also an avid Packers and Brewers fan, and loved going with friends to a game.

She was a kind, caring person, who was always willing to lend a helping hand.  She will always be remembered for her generous spirit and warm heart.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Beverly A. Tolan (Hooper) and Thomas C. Tolan and brother, Jeff T. Tolan.  She is survived by her brother, James P. Tolan and his wife, Alba Patricia Tolan; sister, Janet L. Tolan; niece, Stephanie Tolan; David E. Geis and his son, Kyle.
