Janice M Schauer, 75, Green Bay, passed away Saturday, January 24, 2026. She was born October 22, 1950 to Russell and Rita (Raymaker) Pirlott.

Jan loved a good book and looked forward to traveling to historical places and reading every plaque she came across. She shared many family trips with her children and husband, her favorite being her anniversary cruise to Alaska with her husband, Gary. When Jan wasn't traveling or reading, she was volunteering anywhere she was needed, especially at church and Altrusa. She worked at PMI for over 20 years, taking a wealth of business knowledge out into the working world with her. Jan was a dynamic member of the Christian Mothers and helpful with the Knights of Columbus, always willing to lend a hand at a fundraiser or donating to someone in need. Jan was a loving mother and grandmother and spent every moment she wasn't helping others with her cherished children and grandchildren, and her beloved husband Gary.

She is survived by her husband, Gary; children, Jeremy (Maxine) Schauer, Shelly (Dan) Reznichek; grandchildren, Samantha Schauer, Cassandra Schauer, Alexandra Reznichek, Adelyn Reznichek, Andrew Reznichek; sister, Jean (Lou) Lucci; brothers, Roland (Rose) Pirlott, Mike (Jo) Pirlott; sisters-in-law, Sherry Pirlott, Mary Ann Verheyden; brother-in-law, Ralph Kane, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Jan was preceded in death by her parents, Russell and Rita; sister, Bette Kane; brother, Dave Pirlott; brother-in-law, Richard Verheyden; mother-in-law, Elmira Schauer and father-in-law, Paul Schauer.

The family would like to extend a very special thank you to Erin and Ericka at St. Croix Hospice for their care and comfort. None of this would be possible without the group effort of the family, Jeremy and Maxine; for taking such good care of Mom, and to Shelly for keeping her company so Gary was able to run all his errands.

Friends and family will gather at St John the Baptist Catholic Church, 2597 Glendale Ave., (The entrance is directly across from BP gas station on Glendale Ave.) from 10:30 am to 12 pm (NOON) on Saturday, February 7, 2026.  Mass to follow at 12 pm. Burial will be at St. John the Baptist Cemetery. To send condolences, please go to http://www.blaneyfuneralhome.com .
