It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of Janice Ann "Jan" Minor (Vandermus) 85, with loving family by her side on Wednesday, November 5, 2025. She was born May 27, 1940 in Green Bay to Margaret M. Vandermus (Coppens) and Manuel S. Vandermus. She was a lifelong resident of Green Bay along with her husband Robert L. Minor.
Jan grew up with her parents and one sister, Sandra. She met Bob in 1956 and graduated from West High School in 1958. She worked at S.S. Kresge Company, Arthur Murray Dance Studio where she learned and taught ballroom dance, Shopko, Valley Outdoor Drive-in Theater and A.C. Nielsen Company from which she retired. Jan and Bob had four loving children during their 65 years of marriage.
Jan was humble, honest and selfless, taking pride in watching loved ones succeed. She valued education and promoting personal achievements in others. Her home was full of holiday tradition and a gathering place for all. Summers were spent on their boat on Shawano Lake and in their backyard with family. She loved listening to music and dancing. She loved watching American Bandstand as a teenager and was a big Elvis Presley and opera fan. Her favorite places were Graceland, Florida and San Francisco. With Bob, they spent years showering their grandchildren with love and generosity.
Janice's nurturing spirit, unwavering support and boundless love will forever live on in the hearts of all who knew her.
