Janice "Jan" Rita Lealiou, 69, Howard, passed away Thursday, September 12, 2024. She was born June 2, 1955, in Green Bay to Clarence and Rita E. (Landwehr) Haase.

Jan graduated from Southwest High School, Class of 1973. She married Ronald Lealiou on April 12, 1980, at St. Joseph Catholic Church. They shared 44 wonderful years together. Jan enjoyed going out to eat with Ron, especially for frog legs on Friday. She loved her Dobermans and attending her sons' sporting events. Jan was always there for her sons to cheer them on and was a Den Mother for their Cub Scout Troop. She enjoyed spending time outdoors and snowmobiling in the winter. Jan loved to try new recipes and make desserts.

She is survived by her husband, Ronald; children, Ron Jr. (Sam) Lealiou, Rick Lealiou, and Randy (Kelsey) Lealiou; grandchildren, Aria, Oliver, Teagan, Ryder; sisters-in-law, Karen Deshler, Rosemary Ducas, Carol Janssen, Janette Martin; nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

Janice was preceded in death by her parents, Clarence and Rita; sister, Jean (K.C) Lutsey; sisters-in-law, Mary Alice (Lyn) Larson, Theresa (Paul) Peltier; brothers-in-law, Darrel Ducas, Alvin Janssen, Allen Martin.

Friends and family will gather at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, 2597 Glendale Ave., (The entrance is directly across from BP gas station on Glendale Ave.) from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. on Friday, September 20; Memorial Mass to follow at 11 a.m. with Rev.
