Janice A Hansen, 86 years old, of Green Bay WI, was called home on Thursday, April 13, 2023. She was born September 29, 1936, in Green Bay to Donald and Noreen (Lemerond) Melotte.

After graduating from Seymour high school, Janice ran her own business called Jan's Drapery Den. She spent those years creating beautiful draperies for houses all around the city. Janice married Daniel S. Hansen on July 10, 1981. After her retirement, Janice looked forward to going camping at Boulder Lake with any family that could make it. Everyone that knew her soon found out that camping was Janice's passion and she found comfort in the fact that she got to spend that quality time with family. Other hobbies included gardening, playing cards, golfing, bowling, going on vacations with her many close friends, and throwing holiday parties at her home, especially the annual Booyah party. Janice was a wonderful mother and grandmother who cared deeply for the ones that she loved. She was a longtime member of Nativity of Our Lord Parish. Janice was silly, goofy and kindhearted, which makes it all the harder to let her go. She will be forever in our hearts. Until we meet again.

She is survived by her husband, Daniel; sons, Brian (Debbie) Brylski, Perry (Cathy) Brylski; daughter, Kelly Brylski; daughter-in-law, Cindy Brylski; step-children, Dan (Lisa) Hansen, Mary Ellen Hansen, Mike (Stephanie) Hansen; grandchildren, Carlie (Ryan) Beebe, Cassandra Brylski, Cain Brylski, Amber Brylski (Tony Graham), Merissa Brylski, Jordan Deau, Allie (Zach) Butcher, Ashley Hansen, Cody Hansen, Mitchell Hansen; eleven great-grandchildren; siblings, Ginger (Gaylord) Marcks, Ken (Shirley) Melotte; siblings-in-law, Nancy Rebas, Rita Karsten, Janice Moore; nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

Janice was preceded in death by her son, Randy Brylski; parents, Donald and Noreen; brothers Jack, David, and Donny Melotte.

Friends and family will gather at Blaney Funeral Home, 1521 Shawano Ave., from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, April 20; Funeral Service to follow at 7:00 p.m. To send online condolences, please go to www.BlaneyFuneralHome.com .

Janice's family extends a special thank you to the staffs of Unity Hospice and The Courtyard at Bellevue for the kind and compassionate care given to her.
