Janet Marie LePire, 87, Green Bay, passed away Saturday, December 9, 2023. She was born May 23, 1936, in Milwaukee to Leo and Monica "Laverne" (Sungaila) Martell.

Janet married Roger LePire on January 2, 1970. She enjoyed baking, reading, and watching soap operas, cooking shows, reality television, and cheering on the Packers. Janet loved bird watching and avidly collected anything with cardinals on them. She had an adventurous spirit and recently enjoyed ziplining and a helicopter ride, as well as traveling with her family. Janet was fearless and fierce. She was incredibly social and outgoing. Janet loved being able to spend time with her family and going up to the cottage.

She is survived by her children, Tom (Rhonda) Skippon, Jennifer Blanford, Amy (Damian) Meltesen, Brian (Wendy) LePire; grandchildren, Christina (Charlie) Stefenhagen, Jeremy (Trina Wright) Lautenbach, Brian (Amanda) Oliver, Caylin (Gerald) Rau, Kyle (Dani Gustavson) LePire, Kaitlyn LePire, Samantha (Zack) Zasada, Damian Meltesen II, Wyatt (Kaitlin) Meltesen; great-grandchildren, Madilyn, Daxton, Harrison, Zachary, Tyson, Gunner; brother, Rick (Barb) Martell; special niece, Brenda (Dan) Meisner; and many nieces, nephews, other family and friends.

Janet was preceded in death by her husband, Roger; son, Tim LePire; great-grandson, Brayden; parents, Leo and Monica; brother, Donald Martell.
