James "Jim" Peter Drall, 85, Green Bay, passed away Sunday, April 21, 2024. He was born July 30, 1938, in Lansing, MI to John A. and Anna M. (Eichinger) Drall.
Jim moved with his family to Appleton in 1945. He enlisted in the U.S. Marines and served from 1956 to 1959. Jim met Helen Dombroski in 1960 and the two were married on February 24, 1962. He was employed at Fort Howard starting in November 1967 until his retirement in 1995. Jim enjoyed bowling, golfing and was a fan of most sports. He was proud to have made three holes-in-one during his lifetime. Jim loved his family and was a proud grandpa. He loved to go fishing and golfing with his grandson and attend his hockey games.
He is survived by his wife, Helen; daughter, Stephanie (special friend, Elmer Kozelek Jr.) Drall; grandson, Tyler (special friend, Risa Matuszek) Drall; great-grandson, Jonah Drall; sister, Donna Lefkowitz; nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
Jim was preceded in death by his parents, Anna and John; sister, Virginia (Conrad) Taschner; brother-in-law, Dr. Monroe Lefkowitz.
Friends and family will gather at Nativity of Our Lord Catholic Church, 2270 S. Oneida St., from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. on Saturday, April 27; Mass of Christian Burial to follow at 11 a.m. Entombment will be in Fort Howard Memorial Park.
