James "Jim" Michael Finnel, 81, Maribel, passed away Monday, April 29, 2024. He was born September 24, 1942, in Green Bay to John and Gladys (Scanlan) Finnel.

Jim graduated from Mishicot High School, Class of 1960. He enlisted in the U.S. Air Force and served from 1960 to 1964. Jim married Marcia Jacques and together they raised two children. When he became a grandfather, his grandchildren were his pride and joy. Jim loved being a grandfather. He was employed by Vinton Construction and was a Teamster for over 37 years. He was a longtime member of the Teamster Union Local #75. Jim enjoyed deer hunting and fishing. He loved to work in the garden and grew many different types of vegetables. Jim was happy to have made two trips to Ireland as he was proud to be Irish. He loved his dogs and always had a canine companion.

He is survived by his wife, Marcia; children, Erin (Mark) Anderson, Shannon (Niki) Finnel; grandchildren, Delaney Anderson, Kinley Anderson, Cullum James Finnel, Cora Finnel; siblings, Mary Ann (Brian) Gadzinski, Susie (Dan) Nejedlo, Rita (Bob) Shimek, Pat (Rita) Finnel, Chuck (Dawn) Finnel, Mike (Mary) Finnel; sisters-in-law, Virginia "Ginny" Finnel, Chris (Mark) Gillis, Janelle Jacques-Jolly; brother-in-law, Pete Jacques; dog, Tucker; many nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.

Jim was preceded in death by his parents, John and Gladys; two brothers, John and Thomas Finnel; sister, Marilyn Kornely.
