Jacqueline "Jackie" Rae Gillis, 97, Green Bay, passed away Saturday, January 3, 2026. She was born August 20, 1928, in Oconto Falls, WI to Albert and Dorothy (Goodchild) Campbell.

Jackie worked as a Deputy Treasure for the City of Green Bay. She married Alton "Al" Evan Gillis on July 5, 1947 and together they celebrated 73 years of marriage. Jackie's secret to marriage; "don't go to bed mad". She enjoyed spending every winter in Florida with Al and having a whiskey coke. She was a devoted wife and mother and always wore lipstick. Jackie was an avid lifelong Packer fan. She enjoyed knitting, puzzling, listening to and dancing to big band music. Jackie especially loved Bad, Bad Leroy Brown. She adored her grandchildren and loved being a grandmother and great-grandmother. It brought her so much joy to know that in their younger years all her grandchildren loved spending time at grandma and grandpa's house.

She is survived by her children, Judith Bowers, Paul (Gretchen) Gillis and Steve Gillis; grandchildren, Steve (Jamie) Bowers, Jamie (Nikki) Bowers, Matthew Bowers, Chris (Bonnie) Bowers, Nicole (fella, Jake Saunoris) Bowers, Charlie Gillis, Henry Gillis, Stephanie Gillis, Melody Donnely; 19 great-grandchildren; and six great-great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

Jackie was preceded in death by her husband, Al; parents, Albert and Dorothy; as well as her siblings.

Friends and family will gather at Blaney Funeral Home, 1521 Shawano Ave., from 4:30pm to 6pm on Tuesday, January 13; Memorial Service to follow at 6pm. Burial will be at Fort Howard Memorial Park. To send online condolences, please go to www.BlaneyFuneralHome.com.
