Grant La Plante, 72, of Nekoosa, died November 15, 2025 at Aspirus Hospital in Wausau, Wisconsin. He lived in Green Bay most of his life and was born to the late Beverly and Ralph La Plante. He was beloved for his great sense of humor and kindness. He loved his little dog, Scruffy. He played guitar and composed songs with beautiful melodies. He was very inventive.

He is father to Rorie Reed (husband Tim) of Hobart and Sean La Plante of Appleton. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Kevin and Bruce La Plante, and parents Beverly and Ralph La Plante. He is survived by siblings Scott, Linda, and Suzanne La Plante, sister-in-law Kathy La Plante, his two children, a grandchild, and nieces and nephews.
