Glen Hogan, 95, Green Bay, passed away on Saturday, February 11, 2023. He was born April 19, 1927, in Howard to Paul and Hortense (Williquette) Hogan.
Glen attended Green Bay West High School. He married Rita Horstketter on September 2, 1950 at St. Patrick Catholic Church. Glen worked at Austin Straubel until he retired in 1989. He was a longtime member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, the order of Foresters as well as the Teamsters Local 75. Glen enjoyed working with small electronics and woodworking. He was deeply talented when it came to fixing, maintaining, and coaching. In his younger years he helped the elderly with home maintenance projects. He even built his own home on Park Ridge!
Not only was he a devoted husband to his wife, Rita, but also a fantastic father to his four children. His family is deeply touched by the many examples of intense love to his wife, children and grandchildren.
He is survived by his loving wife of 72 years, Rita; children, Mary (Robin) Hanson, Bill Hogan; grandchildren, Erik (Lala) Hogan, Brandon (Cassondra) Hogan, Adam (Erin) Hanson, Luke Hogan; great-grandchildren, Lucy, Ruby, June, Kyle, Kaitlynn, Wyatt, Jourdan, Alana; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Glen was preceded in death by his sons, Steve Hogan, Rick Hogan; brother, Robert (Betty) Hogan; parents and parents-in-law.
Friends and family will gather at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, 2597 Glendale Ave., (The entrance is directly across from BP gas station on Glendale Ave.), from 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. on Friday, February 17; Mass of Christian Burial to follow at 11:30 a.m. Entombment will be in Fort Howard Memorial Park.
