Geraldine "Geri" Soleski Turriff, 92, Green Bay, passed away Thursday, December 18, 2025. She was born September 30, 1933, in Green Bay to John and Anna (Cherney) Velicer.

Geri married Leroy Soleski on June 24, 1953. He preceded her in death on September 10, 1983. Together they had four children. Geri married Thomas Turriff in 1986. He preceded her in death in 1991. Geri was also a longtime member of Nativity Parish and an active member of the church. She frequently volunteered at church and at Woodside Lutheran Home. She enjoyed remaining active during her retirement with being an avid gardener who loved having fun, playing cards, and being social.

She is survived by her children, Sherry (Jeff Phillips) Soleski, Susan (Thomas) Cherney, Sandra (Keith) DenRuyter, Scott (Melody) Soleski; grandchildren, Danielle (Nic) Walter, Aaron (Ashley) Cherney, Kevin Cherney, Lucas (Johnelle) DenRuyter, Kaitlin Soleski; great-grandchildren, Brayden, Braxton, Oliver, Sullivan, Oaklynn, Navy, and a baby boy on the way; brother, Marvin Velicer; nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

Geraldine was preceded in death by her husbands, Leroy Soleski and Thomas Turriff; parents, John and Anna; brother, Donald (Toni) Velicer; sister-in-law, Helen Velicer; other extended family and in-laws.
