Georgiana Mae Piantek, 90, passed away Tuesday, April 4, 2023. She was born December 30, 1932, in the town of Lawrence to Edward Michael and Angeline Agnes (VanDeHei) Stoskopf.

Georgiana attended technical college. She sold real estate and worked as a cosmetologist.

Georgiana worked for many years as a hairdresser for shut-ins. She collected angels and loved her jewelry.

She is survived by her son, Gary Edward (Margaret) Piantek; daughter-in-law, Kristin Piantek; grandchildren, Felice Piantek, Maria (Jeff) Gitter, Shane (Toni) Piantek, Cassie (Geoff) Tulachka, Seth Piantek, Kaylee Piantek, Alexis Piantek, and Gabriel Piantek; bonus granddaughter, Carma (Scott) Wesolowsk; and one sister, Marlene Luedke.

Georgiana was preceded in death by her parents, Edward and Angeline; son, Steven Michael; and sisters and brothers-in-law, Adeline and Lloyd Vercauteren, Laura and Leland Brusky, and Gene Luedke, and longtime companion, Lloyd Bender.
