Georgia J. (Walk) Tesch, 84, Green Bay, died peacefully Wednesday, Jan. 18, 2012, with her family by her side. She was born Dec. 26, 1927, in Antigo, Wis., to the late Anthony and Gertrude (Nelson) Walk. Georgia graduated from Antigo High School in 1946. On June 18, 1949, she married Gerald "Jerry" Tesch at St. John's Catholic Church in Antigo. Georgia and Jerry owned and operated Tesch's Village Inn in Antigo. In 1971 they moved their family to Green Bay. She was a member of St. Willebrord Parish.

Georgia's family was the center of her life. She was a loving wife and mother and always put her family's needs above her own. She loved spending time with her grandchildren and was so proud of all of them. Her three great-grandchildren brought her so much joy. She was a wonderful loving person and will be sadly missed.

Survivors include her husband, Gerald; six children and their spouses, Jerry and Tina Tesch, Elton; Steve and Dee Tesch, Crivitz; John Tesch and his special friend, Julie Geiger, Green Bay; Tom and Jan Tesch, Howard; Laurie and Nick Sturzl, Green Bay; Lynn and Michael Carney, Denmark; 13 grandchildren, Jessica (fiancé, Cory), Michelle, Kelli, Kerri, Mark (Liz), Stephanie, Justin, Nicholas (Jenner), Zachary (fiancée, Kayla), Katie, Andrew, Shannon, Meaghan; three great-grandchildren, Madyson, Ella, Nicholas; three sisters, Betty (Tom) Lukowicz, Jane Donohue, Carol (Bob) Eiter; one brother, Harry (Evelyn) Walk; two brothers-in-law, Don (Janice) Tesch, Neil MacFarlane.

She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother-in-law, Mike Donohue; and a sister-in-law, Joyce MacFarlane.
