Gene Moss, 87, Green Bay, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, October 24, 2024 as a result of a fall. He was born November 7, 1936, in Elderon, WI to Edwin L. and Goldie (Spaulding) Moss.

Gene graduated from Antigo High School, Class of 1954. On June 19, 1965, he married Dawn Bell and together they lived in Tomahawk, WI. Gene owned and operated his own sports shop for several years. His entire working career was spent with All-Car, formerly Antigo Auto Parts. In 1984 he moved to Denmark, WI and resided there until making their home in 1990 in Green Bay. Gene retired in 1998 and gladly remained retired. Being retired allowed Gene to spend more time doing the things he loved. He spent his time fishing for musky, snowmobiling, working in the pits at the Tomahawk Speedway, keeping a meticulous yard, and maintaining the cleanest All-Car Store. Gene was never without a dog, and he loved all his fur companions, especially his current dog, Oso.

He is survived by his wife, Dawn; children, Stirling (Jim) Moss, Carleen (Gary) Bain, Karyn (John) Techmeier, Bart (Sherri) Moss; grandchildren, Jenna (Connor) Long, Zack Techmeier, Kolton Techmeier, Dalton Bain, Braden Bain; great-grandson, Maverick Long; brothers, Keith (JoAnn) Moss, Sheldon (Sue) Moss; nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

Gene was preceded in death by his parents, Edwin and Goldie; siblings, Francis (Leona) Moss, Valerie (Mel Wirz) Devereaux.

Friends and family will gather at Shrine of the Good Shepherd, 2770 Bay Settlement Rd., from 11 a.m. -12:30 p.m. on Wednesday, October 30; Service to follow at 12:30 p.m. with Rev.
