Gary Lee Swetlik, 77, Green Bay, passed away Thursday, February 8, 2024. He was born July 10, 1946, in Manitowoc to Emil and Mildred (Paul) Swetlik.

He met the love of his life, MaryAnn Frelich, at the Piccadilly in Green Bay.  They were married on July 26, 1969 and together they raised three wonderful children. Throughout his entire life Gary had a wide variety of health struggles. He remained positive, had an optimistic outlook, great sense of humor, never complained and kept it all lighthearted. Gary was always a happy and jolly guy. He credited his positivity to his wife. Gary dedicated his whole being to MaryAnn. In turn she was his guiding light and helped him through every health struggle he encountered. Together they overcame them all, their love was so strong. It was never what he had, it was always about who he was with and making memories. Gary was a huge Packer fan and his son made sure he attended his one and only Packer game, a cherished memory. He loved music and was proud to have seen Elvis in concert. Gary was a man of strong faith which helped him maintain his perpetual optimism.

He is survived by his children, Dawn (Mark) Moore, Sheri (Tom) Vogltanz, Joe (Kelly) Swetlik; grandchildren, Tyler, Lindsey, Payton, Crystal and Cameron; sisters-in-law, Jean Swetlik, Judy (Tom) Reedy; and many other family and friends.

Gary was preceded in death by his wife, MaryAnn; parents, Mildred and Emil; brothers, Ronald (Dolores) and Jon; sister-in-law, Veronica (Bill) Siehr.
