Gary Laurent, 64, Green Bay, passed away peacefully at home on Friday, August 18, 2023, from heart disease with his wife Diana at his side. He was born March 13, 1959, in De Pere to Donald and Lavern (Detrie) Laurent.

Gary graduated from West De Pere High School in 1977. After high school he enlisted in the Marine Corps. He enjoyed seeing the world and meeting new people. In 1988 he married Diana Pavlik. They enjoyed 35 years together travelling the backroads of Wisconsin and going for rides in his truck. He enjoyed finding new restaurants to try out and getting a few cool ones. Gary had a love for animals especially his cat, Pilot, and golden retriever, Oliver. He spent his last years working at Nestle Freedom Plant until his retirement in October of 2022 due to his health.

He is survived by his wife Diana; siblings, Mary (Bob) Zuleger, Kathy (Kirk) Witte, Sally (Jeff) Goffard; mother-in-law, Mae Pavlik; brothers and sisters-in-law, Joe Maar, Lynn Laurent, Darrin (Aarika) Pavlik, Dean (Sharon) Pavlik, Debbie Schaefer; pets, Oliver and Pilot; many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Gary was preceded in death by his parents, Don and Lavern; his sister Pat Maar; brother, Ernie Laurent; father-in-law, Ron Pavlik; brother-in-law, Larry Schaefer.
