Gail Patricia Peot, 84, Suamico, Wisconsin, passed away Wednesday, February 26, 2025. She was born March 31, 1940, to John and Carol (Norris) Gritt.

Gail graduated from Green Bay East High. On October 17, 1959, she married Dennis John Peot at St. Benedict Catholic Church, Suamico. He preceded her in death on July 18, 2020. Gail loved music and music was always a part of her life. She was a member of her family's band in her younger years and was able to play by ear. Gail played piano and was happy to leave the tv off and just listen to music. She enjoyed drawing, painting, baking, and cooking. Gail looked forward to spring when she could care for her plants and get fresh flowers. Her children and grandchildren were her pride and joy and she loved all of the time spent with her family.

She is survived by her children, Mark (Sue) Peot, Steve (Laura) Peot, Tracy (Brenda) Peot, and Paul (Christine) Peot; grandchildren: Logan (Morgan), Landon Peot, Spencer (Erica), Ryan (Tilly), Ian, Elliott, Grace Peot, Carly (Greg) Wysocki, Jennifer (Adam) Kelm, Janie (Josh) McKeon, Alex (Chris) Calawerts, Andi (Mike) Cellucci, Derek Marino;

great-grandchildren, Nora, Robert, Reagan Peot, Amelia and Charlotte Kelm, Lincoln Wysocki, Beckett McKeon; brother, Gordon Gritt; siblings-in-law, Missy Gritt, Melodee Peot, Jane White, and Jean Peot; nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

Gail was preceded in death by her husband, Dennis; parents, John and Carol; brothers, Glenn (Sue), Gary, Gregg Gritt; sisters, Gloria Parmentier Kruse and Gladys Dehn; in-laws, Robert and Leone Peot; brother-in-law, Richard White, Robert Peot.

Friends and family will gather at Blaney Funeral Home, 1521 Shawano Ave., from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. on Friday, March 14; Parish Wake to follow at 6 p.m. Visitation will continue at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, 2597 Glendale Ave., (The entrance is directly across from BP gas station on Glendale Ave.) from 10:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. on Saturday, March 15; Requiem Mass will begin at 11:30 a.m. Burial will take place in the St. Benedict Catholic Cemetery.
