Florence Niemuth, 88, Green Bay, passed away Monday, January 15, 2024. She was born December 28, 1935, to Leonard and Mayme (Beyersdorf) Polzin on the family farm in Dupont, WI.

Florence graduated from Marion High School, Class of 1953. She was intelligent and a member of the National Honor Society. After graduation she worked at Wisconsin Bell in Appleton and Green Bay as a secretary. She married Ronald Niemuth on August 11, 1956 at St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Marion. Together they celebrated 67 years of wedded bliss. As they began their family, she became a devoted mother and homemaker. She was the best cook and graced her family with many wonderful meals and desserts. Florence was actively involved at Bethel Lutheran Church where she was a longtime member.

Florence was a talented seamstress and painter. She sewed many costumes and outfits for her family. Florence painted and gave many ornaments and keepsakes to those she loved. Florence and Ron enjoyed winter vacations in Panama City Beach, Florida, where many friends and relatives would gather.

Florence is survived by her husband, Ron; their children, Mark (Debbie) Niemuth, Kim (Jeff) Harkins, Scott (Lisa) Niemuth, Pam (Dan) Schraufnagel; grandchildren, Averi (Akira) Niemuth, Ashley (Drew) Spratt, Brooke (Trent) Ilk, Jonathan (Lacey Ruechel) Harkins, Megan (Ryan) Huettl, Ben (Kendra) Niemuth, Alex (Taylor) Niemuth, Marah Niemuth, Krissy (Zach) Miller; great-grandchildren, Hailey, Olivia, Josephine, Harper, Sawyer, Lilith, Callie, Shelby, Isla, Grant; sister-in-law, Shirley (Duane) Wegener; and many nieces, nephews, and friends.

Florence was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Warren Polzin, Harold (Sandy) Polzin; brothers-in-law, Norman (Mary Lou) Niemuth, Ken (Therese) Niemuth.

Friends and family will gather at Bethel Evangelical Lutheran Church, 1350 Bond St., from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. on Saturday, January 20; Funeral Service to follow at 11 a.m. with Rev.
