Fern Ann (O'Brien) Engebos passed away peacefully on Thursday, June 1, at a local hospital after a short illness.  She was born on October 6, 1930 to Patrick and Bernadette (Marinan) O'Brien.

Fern graduated from East High school in 1948, and Kenosha school of nursing, as an LPN. She worked at Bellin Hospital in Labor and delivery, and the Surgical floor for many years. Fern continued at Bellin as a dedicated volunteer for many more years after retirement. Fern was a caregiver all her life, and she also worked hard cleaning houses and selling Avon.

Fern married Bob Engebos in May of 1951. She is survived by her 4 children, Kathleen, Joe, Tricia, and John. Also survived by her 8 grandchildren, and 11 great  grandchildren.

Fern was preceded in death by her parents, Patrick and Bernadette (Marinan) O'Brien, her 3 siblings, her husband Bob, and granddaughter, Lisa.
