Evelyn Laabs, 85, Green Bay, passed away Sunday, December 25, 2022. She was born December 10, 1937, to William and Ursula (DeGreef) Gillis.

Evelyn married Cletus Laabs May 10, 1958. She spent time working for the phone company, Prange Way, and Shopko. Evelyn enjoyed bowling on a league for many years. She enjoyed flowers and watching the birds in her yard. She loved her trips to Florida to visit family. Evelyn loved to spend as much time as she could with her family.

She is survived by her husband, Cletus; two daughters, Mary (Bill) Borremans, Florida, Lori Zaskey, Green Bay; grandchildren, Nicole Borremans, Alabama, Mike (Katie) Borremans, Florida, Sara Borremans (special friend Rob Johnston), Florida, Ben (Kayla) Kurowski, Green Bay, Krystal (Eric) Monahan, Florida; great-grandchildren; great-great-grandchildren; brother, James Gillis; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Evelyn was preceded in death by her parents, William and Ursula; parents-in-law, Carl and Mary (Prodell) Laabs; siblings, Raymond (Betty) Gillis, Chuck (Joyce) Gillis, Russell (Cleo) Gillis, Marie (Bill) Billodeau, Lorraine (Dick) Lindbo; brother-in-law, Bob Laabs; son-in-law: Gary Zaskey (and his daughter Kelley Casbourne).
