Ethel Hintz, 84, town of Underhill, WI, passed away peacefully Saturday, January 13, 2024. She was born on October 3, 1939, in Green Bay to Joe and Dorothy (Saunders) Bardouche.

Ethel attended Green Bay East and graduated from Dan McCarthy High School in Fort Pierce, FL. She married Walter Hintz on August 9, 1958, at Grace Presbyterian Church in Green Bay. Together they raised five children in the village of Howard and celebrated 54 years of marriage. He preceded her in death on September 11, 2012. Ethel enjoyed bowling, golf, playing cards, as well as knitting, sewing and family trips to Florida. She and Walter spent retirement up north at "the Shaque", where she enjoyed the outdoors and watching the birds and deer.

Ethel is survived by her five children: Lisa (Larry) Schilling, Steven (Vickie) Hintz, Robert (Renee) Hintz, Mari (Roug) Cox, Rebecca (Richard) Chernick; seven grandchildren: Joe (Jackie) Hintz, Jacob (Elizabeth) Hintz, Caley (Brett) LaBar, Cristey (Marc) Shield, Mitchell (Bailey) Cox, Garrett (Alondra) Cox, Caleb Cox; five great-grandchildren: Audrey, Penelope, William, Lyla, and Otto; former son-in-law Jerry Johnson; brothers Gerald (Eileen) Bardouche and Joe "Peter" (Judy) Bardouche; brother-in-law, Don (Linda) Hintz; sister-in-law, Lynn (Derald) Chartier; and many nieces and nephews.

Ethel was preceded in death by her husband, Walter; parents, Joe and Dorothy; sister, Jean White.
