Esther H. Gerrits, 97, Green Bay, passed away Sunday, January 12, 2025. She was born April 9, 1927, in Little Chute, WI to Martin and Elizabeth (Dercks) Lemmens.

Esther married Donald Van Eycke and later married Willard Gerrits. She worked at many different jobs during her life.

She is survived by her children, Joseph Wojkiewicz, Joyce (Steve) Libal, Christine (Merlin) Van De Walle, Donna Van Eycke, John "Jack" (Lou Ann) Van Eycke, Laurie (Bob) Becker; stepdaughter, Rose (Dana) Kiesling; 12 grandchildren, 30 great-grandchildren, three great-great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

Esther was preceded in death by her nine siblings, two of her grandchildren, her parents, and her husband, Bill.

Friends and family will gather at St. Agnes Parish, 1484 Ninth St., from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. on Friday, January 17; Mass to follow at 11 a.m. Burial will be in St. John the Baptist Cemetery. To send online condolences, please go to www.BlaneyFuneralHome.com.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to Esther's wonderful friend, Mary Leclerq, and her brother Flash's children, Larry, Cindy, Sherry, Connie, Johnny, and Jody. Ether's family wishes to extend their gratitude to the staff at Unity Hospice, especially Gina, Nancy, and Kang.
