Ernest "Ernie" Wolska, 95, Green Bay, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, February 15, 2023. He was born May 18, 1927, in Oconto Falls, WI to Frederick and Amelia (Regal) Wolska.

Ernest helped his father run a tavern until he joined the U.S. Army. He served in the Korean War and was stationed in Germany. Upon returning home he continued to run the tavern. Ernest married Bernice Gracyalny at Grace Lutheran Church in Oconto Falls. He worked for Gillet Plywood and retired from Pauly and Beatrice Cheese. He was a member for over 40 years at Ascension Lutheran Church. Ernest was an avid gardener and enjoyed his half acre garden, full of fruit trees, vegetables and flowers. He loved to play cards, read and spend time with his family. Spending time with his family was a true joy to him.

He is survived by his wife, Bernice; children, Robert Wolska, Catherine "Cat" (Brian) Mueller; grandchildren, Bridgett Mueller, Brooke Mueller; sisters-in-law, Sandra Gracyalny, Violet Gracyalny; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Ernest was preceded in death by his parents, Frederick and Amelia; brothers, Alfred Wolska, Elmer Wolske; two infant brothers; parents-in-law, Steve and Josephine Gracyalny.

Friends and family will gather at Ascension Lutheran Church, 2911 Libal St., from 10 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. on Monday, February 20; Funeral Service to follow at 11 a.m. with Rev. Lori Swenson and Rev.
