Eric David "Rollie" Hanson, 54, Ashwaubenon, set up camp in Heaven, Saturday, December 31, 2022. He knew his dog, Curly was waiting for him there. Eric was born March 23, 1968, in Green Bay to David and Eleanor "Ellie" (Cartier) Hanson.

Eric graduated from Ashwaubenon High School, Class of 1986. He worked at ProActive Solutions for over 30 years. Eric enjoyed playing slow pitch softball for J.R.'s Bar and parking cars during Packer home games. He loved his dogs, Curly and Ernie. Eric enjoyed a variety of types of music and watching the Packers and Brewers. His absolute favorite hobby was camping. There was no better place to him than sitting around a campfire. He loved being able to share his love of camping with family and friends. Wherever he camped Eric made a friend. His grandchildren were the light of his life and above all he loved the time he was able to spend with them.

He is survived by his parents, David and Ellie; siblings, Beth Hanson, Caron (Shawn) Hanson Shepard; niece, Sira Shepard; aunt, Kathryn VerKuilen; Godmother, Nancy Baldauf; grandchildren, Haiden, Laney, Hudson and their parents Cori and Brandon; numerous cousins, other relatives and friends.

Eric was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Stuart and Oleta Hanson; maternal grandparents, Irvin and Anna Cartier; as well as aunts, uncles, cousins, and all the puppies he's loved over the years.
