Elizabeth Rose "Bette" Majewski- Renier (nee Bauer) passed away peacefully on Sunday, December 15, 2024. She was born in Appleton, Wisconsin. Bette graduated from Appleton West High School.  Following graduation, Bette worked at Service and Supply in Appleton until marrying Marvin Majewski on July 23, 1960. He passed away on October 28, 2004. Bette was a widow for 12 years. She was united in marriage to Gerald Renier on June 2, 2016, her friend of 46 years. They were in the same dance club, bowling team, and did family camping together.

Her family and friends were the love of her life. Bette was in particular gratitude of and endeared to all of her Appleton aunts, uncles and cousins, who so lovingly made her and her family a special part of their lives. She enjoyed a variety of employment: WBAY TV, Brice Realty, NWTC, Green Bay Park & Recreation, and home health care with Bellin hospital. She attended YWCA Deep Water Aerobics since 1986 until a failed back surgery. Bette enjoyed cycling and logged over 5,000 miles on her Schwinn five-speed bike. She was a member of Nativity of our Lord parish adult choir for 30 years and was also a member of their prayer group.

Bette was happiest being with her family, especially the annual week in St. Germain each summer. She enjoyed camping, birthdays, holidays, and any other opportunities to be together. Bette enjoyed being a grandma for 30+ years, making many family scrapbooks, dog sitting, cooking, entertaining, playing piano, listening to music, doing chalk pastels as well as misc. art projects. She loved cutting grass, blowing snow, and golfing with her ladies' league. Bette cooked for many sick friends. She collected flower petals to make potpourri to give away to everyone she knew. Bette and Marvin traveled to Medjugorje, Croatia in 2002.  She went again as a widow in 2006; it was the most beautiful, affirming spiritual experience in her lifetime. Her Catholic faith was a special gift that kept her going.

She is survived by her children Sally, Bryan, Timothy, Christine and their spouses and grandchildren. Sally (Richard) Nehm, New Berlin, their children, Andrew Nehm (Kristi), great granddaughter Samantha, Mukwonago; Melissa Rose Nehm (fiancé Drew), Milwaukee; son Bryan Majewski (fiancée Molly) Chattanooga, TN, his children, Katie, Milwaukee, Jonathan (Chandler), Milwaukee, and Maggie, Milwaukee; son Timothy (Lynn), Green Bay, their daughters Jessica Sieh (Jordan), great grandson Bennett, Apple Valley, MN, and Nicole Elizabeth, Green Bay; Christine Schmidt (Craig), De Pere, their children, Jake, Benjamin and Samuel, De Pere.  Her "adopted" families Lisa and John Vollrath, their children, Allison Childs, Milwaukee, and Grant Vollrath, Appleton; Kimberly and Jim Gregory, their children, Kaitlyn and Jonathan, Menasha.  Sisters-in-law, Mary Ellen Majewski, Lucille Majewski, Ann (Charlie) Hahn, their children, and many lifetime friends.
