Elaine Buth, 77, Green Bay, passed away Wednesday, June 4, 2025. She was born March 15, 1948, in Estevan, Saskatchewan, Canada to Edward Schwegman and Semone Thom.

Elaine moved to North Dakota when she was six. Later she moved with her brother to Green Bay. In 1972 Elaine married Kevin Buth. She worked as a caretaker at Woodside and Home Instead for many years. Elaine was a member of the Moose Lodge 801. She enjoyed going out to eat and visiting with her friends, especially at Hometown Café and loved being a grandma.

She is survived by her husband, Kevin; son, Lance (Christine) Buth; grandchildren, Landon, Jonah, Kinley; siblings, Randy (Charlene) Schwegman of Tempe, AZ; Ron (Lori) Thom of Garrison, ND, Susan Dyste of Mesa, AZ; step-brothers, Larry (Tammy), Brad (Jamie), Bobby all of Minnot, ND; brother-in-law, Keith Buth; best buddies, Dian and Jeanne; nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

Elaine was preceded in death by her father, Edward Schwegman; mother, Semone (Clayton) Thom; sister, Louise Kroening; brothers, Larry Schwegman, Mark Schwegman; brother-in-law, Bernard Dyste; sister-in-law, Lynn Van De Hey, Cheri Buth.
