Duane Peter Powers, 73, Pulaski, left this world unexpectedly on Monday, March 16, 2026. He was born August 6, 1952, in Green Bay to Pat and Mickey (Huben) Powers.

Duane lived most of his life on the family farm in Anston. He was the middle son with eight siblings. Duane graduated from Pulaski High School, served his country in the U.S. Army, and retired from Oneida Casino. His happy place was being outdoors, so he spent many hours mowing the lawn, cutting wood, and maintaining the yard. He raised chickens and kept the food pantry and family and friends supplied with fresh eggs. Duane's to-do list was never finished. He beat the alcohol demon and proudly showed everyone his Coin commemorating his 35 years of sobriety.

He is survived by his sons, Dean and Shawn; grandchildren, Addilyn, Brandon, Zachary; siblings, Maureen (Jim) Drunasky, Peg Powers, Molly LaRock, Mark (Michelle) Powers, Pat (Kathy) Powers; sister-in-law, Kimme; nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

Duane was preceded in death by his parents, Pat and Mickey; brothers, Dennis, David, Terry; paternal grandparents, Bill and Minnie Powers; maternal grandparents, Fred and Eva Huben; mother of his sons, LuAnn Matuszak; grandson, Cullen Powers.

Per Duane's wishes no formal services will be held. Burial will be at St. John the Baptist Cemetery. To send online condolences, please go to www.BlaneyFuneralHome.com.
