Dorothy Mae (Brooks) Michalski, 88, Green Bay, passed away Saturday, June 5, 2021.  She was born on June 27, 1932, in De Pere to Bernard and Mathilda "Tillie" (Wollenberg) Brooks.

She grew up on the family farm with her siblings in DePere.  They worked hard and always found time for fun.  On May 18, 1955, Dorothy married Thomas Michael Michalski. Together they had six children and celebrated 45 years of marriage together.  Prior to marrying Tom, she loved her first job at Gross Motors in DePere.  Once raising her children, she then enjoyed working for Hansen's Dairy Store for many years, as well as working with the elderly in the home health care field.  She loved to bake and was well known for her pistachio bread and cottage cheese rolls.  She also met and shared her later years, with love and compassion, with Clarence "Peanuts" Michiel, for more than 17 years.

Dorothy's faith was important to her.  She was a long-time member of Annunciation Catholic Church, where she liked to volunteer and serve communion at nursing homes.

Survivors include her children, Marcia (Gary) Larson and their children, Kyle, Zach (Shande), Linda (Edgar) Warren and their children, Kelly (Kevin), Curtis (Stephanie), deceased son Roy's children, Jessica, Jacob (Jenny), Tom "Casey" (Cathy) Michalski and their children, Michael (Lesley), Adam (Sammie), Lisa (Nathan) Smith and their children Lindsey (Herb), Rachel, Brett; 12 great-grandchildren; daughter-in-law, Dawn (Marv) Andree; special companion, Clarence Michiel and his family; her siblings, John (Beverly) Brooks, Mary (James) Maes, Helen Rentmeester, David (Janet Brooks), and James (Barbara) Brooks; as well as many nieces and nephews.
