Donna M. (Tahlier) Neu, 99, formerly of Green Bay, died Wednesday, February 18, 2026, surrounded by her family. Donna was born December 17, 1926, to Fred and Rose Tahlier. She graduated from Annunciation Grade School and West High School, where she met her future husband, Robert Neu. The high school sweethearts married in 1947 when Bob returned from WWII service. They were members of St. Agnes and later St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Parishes.

As a young mother, Donna had many interests and activities: bridge, bowling, golf, dance club, gardening, and Girl Scouts, to name a few. She was a skilled seamstress, sewing clothing for herself and her daughters as well as making items for her home.

In retirement she delighted in knitting and donating hundreds of caps for newborns and adults in need. Bob and Donna traveled to art fairs around Wisconsin, exhibiting and selling Bob's artwork. She also tutored ESL students for the Literacy Council. She enjoyed summers surrounded by family at their cottage on Shay Lake in Northern Wisconsin, and winters in Bonita Springs, Florida.

At the time of Bob's death in 2015, Donna moved to Lexington, Kentucky to be near two of her daughters and extended family.

Donna is survived by her children: Kristine Parins (Richard), Suzanne Neu (Steve Marsh), Virginia Smits (David), David Neu (Lisa); her grandchildren: Katrina Gray (Nathan), Robert Parins, Elizabeth Shlapack (Eric), Joseph Williams (Carla Ensink), Tyler Marsh, Laura Beth Cashku (Igli), Daniel Peña, Abigail Olmstead (Matthew), Carly Smits (Jason Payne), Lindsay Pruski (James), Emily Tolley (Micah), Olivia Richardson, and Sophie Richardson; eighteen great-grandchildren; one great-great grandchild; her brother-in-law John Neu; and many beloved nieces and nephews.

Donna was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Bob, her siblings Elaine McAllister, Lois Lindsten, Eugene Tahlier, and her great-granddaughter Charlotte Olmstead.

Friends and family will gather at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church, 2771 Oakwood Dr., from 10am to 11am on Thursday, June 18; Memorial Mass to follow at 11am. To send online condolences, please go to www.BlaneyFuneralHome.com.
