Dolores "Doty" Chapin, 90, Green Bay, passed away Tuesday, January 2, 2025. She was born November 7, 1934, in Huron, South Dakota to Lester and Rosemary (Short) Brinker.

Doty loved being a mom. She was employed with Schneider Transport as a telephone operator, but her main job was always being a family woman. Doty was a devoted wife. She loved to go on adventures with her husband, Russel. The two married at Nativity Church and together celebrated 25 years of marriage. Doty was a devout Catholic with a strong deep faith and reflected her values through her charitability. Doty was fondly known as a cat lady and loved her cats. She enjoyed playing cards with her family and friends. Doty had always wanted a large family. She adopted 5 children and with the addition of Russel's children her family grew. The more her family grew the happier she was. She was the most loving mother whose passion was caring for her family.

She is survived by her husband, Russel; children, Dan Skaleski, Doreen (Todd) Mitchell, Dana (Bryan) Guns, Drew (Kim) Skaleski; stepchildren, Russell, Calvin, Paul, Randy, Danny, Pat; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren; sister, Diane (Don) Kunchynski; two cats, Angel and Gabriel; many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

Doty was preceded in death by her son, Darren Skaleski; parents, Lester and Rosemary; brother, Lance Brinker.
