Dennis Lee Van Dalen, 82, Green Bay, passed away Saturday December 17, 2022, with his family by his side, after a brave battle with cancer. He was born in Green Bay to the late Edward and Marie (Van Vonderen) Van Dalen on July 5, 1940.

He graduated from Premontre High School, Class of 1958. After high school, he went on to serve in the United States Marine Corps. He married Rosemary Kropp on October 26, 1963, at Annunciation Catholic Church, in Green Bay. Dennis was employed by the H.C. Prange Company in various positions for ID and Prange Way. He also worked for Family Dollar until his retirement.  His retirement was full of many activities and events, but above all spending time with his grandchildren.

Dennis is survived by his wife, Rosemary; children, Jeff (Lori) Van Dalen, Michael (Molly) Van Dalen, Laurie Van Dalen; grandchildren, Hannah and Karch Van Dalen; a sister, Marie Ann Vorpagel; a brother, John Van Dalen; a brother-in-law, Don Kropp; and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by 2 brothers, 3 brothers-in-law, 4 sisters-in-law and his parents-in-law, Irene and William Kropp.

Visitation will be held at Our Lady of Lourdes Parish Family, 1307 Lourdes Ave. De Pere, on Thursday, December 22 from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. A Memorial Mass will follow at 11 a.m. officiated by Rev. James Baraniak O. Praem. To send online condolences, please go to www.BlaneyFuneralHome.com .
